Start Here: Before the State Decides Who Speaks for You and Brainstorm Your Death are companion zines from the Anarchist Death Project.
Start Here is the entry point to our Paperwork of Dying / End-of-Life Forms. It shows where authority over your medical care, body, burial, property and affairs may go if you do nothing, what the state actually requires, and where institutions and the death industry routinely assume authority that is not theirs. Find where the state intends to put authority over you. Seize it before death puts it beyond your reach.
Brainstorm Your Death begins before any of that. Before the forms, before the funeral director, before somebody starts telling you what your choices are: what do you actually want? Your dying, your body, your people, your burial, your name, your things, your disappearance. Figure out what matters. Then figure out what needs protecting.
The Bacchus editions come straight off our presses in vibrant full color on gorgeous satin stock. Durable, press-perfect zines for keeping with your papers, handing out, stocking shops, using in deathcare work, etc.
Anarchist Death Project zines are made to order and printed here at Bacchus Editions in batches of 100 between our regular book pressings. Depending on where we are in the current print schedule, your order may be ready to ship within a couple of days or may take up to two weeks. Please keep that little production window in mind when ordering. If you have certain needs, just let us know.
